I partially agree with 'failing to plan ahead is planning to fail', because throughout life we always need to know what we need to do. However, there are times when life throws a curve ball at us and we have to adjust to those situations. So all in all I partially agree/disagree with this quote. For example: I do not plan to fail this class, but without this blog in the gradebook then I fail! So sorry once again for the inconvenience.Bradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04031585026075906518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6456079112543658924.post-47025749797264012162008-12-05T10:52:00.000-08:002008-12-05T10:52:00.000-08:00I agree with the saying because if you don't plan ...I agree with the saying because if you don't plan ahead you won't be ready for what comes to you and you are sure to fail. I must say—not at all. For years I was determined to find my calling, be a Journalist and live happily ever after, but this year has changed my outlook. I have learned to live by one day at a time. Planning seems much too strict and rigid. I want the freedom to choose on a whim.

I may be okay at journalism, but I don’t see myself bogged down with work as a columnist in 10 years. On the other hand though, if you do take out the time to plan for something, you will more than likely succeed with %110. I know of many of times that I have procrastinated on things (like Enlgish papers for instance) and did them the night before. By doing that, I made gerades that weren't so good. You need a plan for things like college, future career plans, etc. For other things plans are useless. The variables change to much or you don't have a clear idea what you actually want or what's involved in getting it.For the most part having a plan is a good just keep in mind that sometimes its better not to plan out to much.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08277126572576740315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6456079112543658924.post-84561968506448994812008-11-14T07:49:00.000-08:002008-11-14T07:49:00.000-08:00I believe there is partial truth to that saying. Yes I do, there are things that are important in your life, like graduating, what you are going to do when your graduate, how are you going to support yourself. If you don't plan things like that out then you will surely fail. My future plans include attending a university and majoring in nursing. So, I do partialy agree. However, Sometimes when you plan something out you might end up overplanning and not get the kind of natural results that would be produced otherwise. For example, this passed weekend some of our chuch's misistry girls were given the task of teaching a session at Fall Retreat. I had my whole lesson planned out and ready to go, before my youth minister took it from me to "check" it and never gave it back. At the session, my partner and I were forced to simply present the lesson from our hearts. It was a truely amazing experience. In most other situations, however, it's probably a good idea to plan ahead. As far as my future goes, I am planning to go to college some where and then proceed on to the mission feild where ever God wants me to go. The plan is still a bit fuzzy, but I've got a general idea.Lulihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04675271386321729077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6456079112543658924.post-17136122037820450352008-11-05T18:12:00.000-08:002008-11-05T18:12:00.000-08:00I agree with the saying because there have been nu...I agree with the saying because there have been numerous times that I can think of, when I would put things at the back of my mind purposely just to forget about them. Me being the dumb one thinking that if I did that, that I wouldnt have to worry about them or actually have to do them. In the long run it's made my life more miserable. I agree that we should all have a plan, and we should totally embrace it! Within the next 10 years I see myself settled down with the unfortunate soul God has made for me... (just kidding I mean totally lucky soul!) hehe I see myself raising amazing kids and being a nurse. That way I can totally take care of the sick, and my kids when they get sick. I would love to sit down and plan out my life and just wake up everyday and know just exactly how my life was going to turn out not matter what happened that day. It would be a relief to know exactly how you would make it in life and everything... but I know things don't always turn out how you want them to. That's no...I strongly disagree with this statement. That's not to see that it's not always wrong, but mostly, whenever you don't plan and you DO fail, it is purely of coincidence. Planning something only gives you a foundation of how you WANT things to turn out; things don't alwasy end up the way you plan or want. Planning, however, can be good for that exact reason: it gives you a clue of what to do. I do agree that it is a little idiotic to run into a new school without learning anything about it first and expect to know everything, or expect to be okay. In these cases, it's probably best to plan, but that does not always mean you fail. For example, my dad got my mom pregnant at a very young age. Obviously, they did not know what they were doing or how they were going to deal with. They had definitely not planned. But over the years, they got through it. Now they have four intelligent and good-looking children, they live in a nice house that's paid for, along with paid-off cars that run well, and well-paying jobs. They made a new life for themselves after a terrible mistake. They failed to plan, but they definitely did not fail.

Where I WANT to see myself in 5-10 years is either in college or just getting out of college, and hopefully finding a good place to start off my career in game design. Where I actually SEE myself...I'm not too sure. Let's hope that I'm even still alive.alexxx.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12583754684157815090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6456079112543658924.post-80419109806035551952008-11-04T20:47:00.000-08:002008-11-04T20:47:00.000-08:00I agree with that saying because when you don't pl...I agree with that saying because when you don't plan what you are going to do when you get older then by the time you get to college you more than likely will have no idea what you want to be. When people do this they say they are going to hold off college for a year and most of the time they end up never going. When I graduate high school I want to go to college and further my education in the nursing fields. I either want to be a neurosurgeon, a RN, Pediatrician, or a pharmacist. In the next 5 years I can see myself in college classes studying hard and in ten I can see myself pursuing my dream of being something in the medical fields.CALLiE ViCTORiA =]]https://www.blogger.com/profile/11071213369082669000noreply@blogger.com
